Viltrox proudly participated in IBC 2025 in Amsterdam, one of the world’s most influential media, entertainment, and technology events. This premier show offered an unparalleled platform to connect with global filmmakers, creators, and industry leaders, highlighting our commitment to innovation in cinematic optics. Over four exciting days, Viltrox showcased our latest Cine and EVO Series lenses, hosted interactive mentor sessions with renowned creators, and provided exclusive hands-on experiences for attendees. Our booth drew tremendous engagement and enthusiasm, and we were thrilled to be honored with both the Newsshooter IBC 2025 Best of Show Award and the CineD IBC 2025 Best of Show Award for our groundbreaking VILTROX NEXUS—a testament to our dedication to cutting-edge product innovation and an immersive, interactive exhibition experience.

Elevating the Industry: The Significance of IBC 2025

IBC Show 2025 in Amsterdam was nothing short of spectacular. As one of the most influential global media and technology events, IBC brought together creators, filmmakers, and innovators from over 170 countries. With over 150 exhibitors, 75 expert speakers, and countless interactive experiences, the show offered unparalleled insights and hands-on opportunities for both seasoned professionals and aspiring creatives. For Viltrox, participating meant showcasing our latest innovations in cinema optics and connecting directly with the global creative community.

Learning from the Best: Inspiration on Every Stage

Throughout the four-day event, attendees were treated to exclusive mentor sessions with acclaimed creators Liam Giuliani (7th Era) and Laura Zalenga (Instagram). Each session combined professional tips on lighting, composition, and creative storytelling with practical demonstrations using Viltrox lenses. Behind-the-scenes insights from PAV Sz and on-set sample captures added extra value, inspiring attendees to explore new perspectives and techniques.

 

After each session, lucky participants could enter instant giveaways, winning Viltrox lenses and accessories — a unique way to reward engagement and foster creativity.

Special attention was given to the unreleased NexusFocus PL-E Adapter, which integrates AI-powered autofocus with Sony’s hybrid focus systems. By combining eye and face tracking with motorized precision, NexusFocus allows filmmakers to achieve dynamic focus transitions and floating-lens effects — truly a glimpse into the future of cinematic tools.

NEW GEAR HUNT: Exclusive Prizes for Attendees

The NEW GEAR HUNT collaboration with Hollyland EU and Zhiyun Tech brought excitement to the show floor. Attendees scanned QR codes, followed social channels, joined Viltrox Discord, and checked in at the booth to participate.

LUNA Series — Expanding Cinematic Horizons

The LUNA 42–420mm T5.6 10X Zoom LPL lens impressed attendees with its ultra-telephoto reach, edge-to-edge sharpness, and large-format coverage up to 65mm. Designed for full-frame cine cameras, the LPL mount ensures rock-solid stability, while the constant T5.6 aperture maintains contrast and clarity across the entire zoom range. From tight close-ups to distant horizons, filmmakers explored fluid storytelling with a single, versatile lens.

EPIC Series — Award-Winning Cine Excellence

Another highlight of IBC 2025 was the EPIC Series Cine Lenses, proudly recognized with the prestigious IF Design Award 2025. Completing the full anamorphic lineup, the EPIC 65mm T2.8 Macro 1.33× PL and EPIC 135mm T2.4 1.33× PL lenses deliver unmatched creative possibilities. The 65mm Macro brings dramatic close-up perspectives with smooth cinematic bokeh, while the 135mm telephoto lens excels at bold compression and subject isolation. Engineered for optical precision, these lenses offer exceptional clarity, minimal aberrations, and a robust build that meets the demands of high-end production.

Meanwhile, Viltrox was also honored on the IBC 2025 show floor, with our VILTROX NEXUS winning both the Newsshooter IBC 2025 Best of Show Award and the CineD IBC 2025 Best of Show Award. The NEXUS is an innovative PL to Sony E-mount adapter that transforms manual PL cine lenses into AF-enabled lenses, supporting full autofocus tracking, eye detection, and even iris control through standard USB-C connections. This breakthrough solution provides filmmakers with a highly intuitive, professional-grade workflow that simplifies complex lens setups while maintaining cinematic precision.
