Before You Search

This table is a non-exhaustive summary of smartphones with full-featured USB-C ports from selected brands. Information is based mainly on official manufacturer specifications. Because not every model can be tested individually, compatibility may still vary. When in doubt, confirm DisplayPort Alt Mode support with the phone manufacturer.

STATUS GUIDE

Status Guide

Tested by Viltrox

Uses USB 3.0 or later with DisplayPort video output, and the listed phone model or series has been tested during product development.

Officially Supported, Not Tested

Official specifications indicate image transmission or DisplayPort output support, but the model has not yet been individually tested by Viltrox.

Verification Required

Official specifications are incomplete, omit key information, or do not list the relevant version. Please confirm with the phone manufacturer.

Compatibility Issue Found

The device uses USB 3.0 or later, but compatibility issues occurred during testing. Actual results may vary by phone, software version, or cable.

Unsupported / Insufficient Information

USB 2.0 generally does not provide video and audio transmission, or the official specifications are too unclear to confirm compatibility.

BEFORE USE

Connection and Usage Notes

01iPhone Touch and Display Settings

To enable touch control: Settings → Accessibility → Touch → AssistiveTouch → turn on AssistiveTouch. If operation becomes unresponsive, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the app switcher, then try again.

If the background image appears abnormal: Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size → turn on Reduce White Point. Screen brightness will decrease after this setting is enabled.

02HUAWEI Wired Screen Projection

Some HUAWEI phones ask whether to enable wired projection after connection. If you accidentally cancel the prompt, disconnect and reconnect the cable. If the phone and DC-T1 show different content, tap the active projection indicator in the upper-right corner and switch to mirror mode.

03Samsung Audio and Sleep Mode

After connecting an audio signal, enable the relevant function when prompted by the phone. If the screen does not enter sleep mode when only power is connected, press Button 1 once, then quickly press Button 2 three to five times to try to enable sleep mode.

04Power and Port Precautions

The port is rated at 5V. When the DC-T1 supplies power to a phone, it provides approximately 3W only. Do not connect high-power charging devices.

When an iPhone is connected only to headphones without external power, it may identify the connection as a projection device, preventing volume adjustment or audio output. Some Samsung phones may not charge when power and audio are connected at the same time. If audio is lost after restarting the DC-T1 while using headphones, disconnect and reconnect the device.

Compatibility may vary by operating-system version, cable specification, adapter, and regional phone variant. Use a full-featured USB-C cable that supports both data and video transmission.
