Sharp Lens

This is the sharpest lens that I have used but also the largest and heaviest. If you are ok sacrificing weight-savings for the benefit of optical clarity you will love this lens.

My favorite lens ever

This 135 is an amazing lens! It has great autofocus and you get Gmaster quality at a fraction of the cost. It's a bit heavy, and the lens hood is a pain to put on and take off, but this lens is amazing overall!!

Amazingly sharp but with a bug

I love the images that come off this lens. It’s incredibly sharp wide open and the colors and contrast are gorgeous. The only complaint I have is that sometimes it seems to be slow to turn all the way off and I can’t turn my camera back on shortly after turning it off. Startup is slower than other lenses too. Perhaps some firmware improvements are coming? I have the latest firmware installed as of this review.

Nice Lens

The image quality is everything I had hoped for.
The lens hood is too small to stow on the lens, when it comes time to mount the lens hood, a lip inside the lens hood catches on the grip of the focus ring jamming it. This cannot be done in a hurry.
I found the instructions for firmware upgrade confusing, but after I connected my iPad Mini 6 to the lens (Usb C to Usb C) the connection was fast and the firmware upgrade was straightforward.
