Great small at an affordable price

Been using the 9mm 2.8 lens on my RED Komodo X (Z Mount) with autofocus to film some shot content and so far I like the fact that the lens is sharp and clean.
It's truly a value for money.

A very very wide and fast budget lens

I've had this out and about a few times to see what it does. What it does is take very nice photos that otherwise are not possible on my Zfc or any crop sensor camera. Focus is fast and reliable, images are sharp, and the lens is perfectly rectilinear in real photographs. I have not aimed it at a test target, and probably won't as that is not what I photograph for real. The lens is light weight and has Viltrox' typical wonderful build quality. While I have not-yet tried a filter on the lens it is cleverly designed to permit use of one. I'll try a polarizer on it some afternoon in the not too distant future.
