Both the 56 and 35 f1.7 are fantastic lenses.

I’ve used both quite a bit. Both small. Excellent sharpness and bokeh. Not a single complaint for the price. Al though weather sealing ring would be nice it’s fine for what it is. Glad I took the chance with these because I was very skeptical.

Love this lens

I was looking for a longer focal length on a budget, and this lens was perfect. It's not necessarily telephoto, but lets me get great portraits and some wildlife. The bokeh at 1.4 is great. I noticed that at 1.4 bokeh, 100 ISO, during daylight forced me to close my shutter speed to 1/4000. This caused my camera to capture a bit of the shutter scanning by, darkening the image, but a linear exposure adjustment in lightroom fixed that in a second (and probably wasn't the lens' fault in the first place).

My only complaint would be that the shipping took much longer than expected, and I didn't receive the free UV filter that was a promotion going on. I would pay the 20 dollars for the expedited shipping in the future.
