this lens is so good! I use it mostly for astro. no coma. finding infinity in the dark is a breeze with the lit display. super sharp and fast and accurate auto focus. built like a tank.

Shoot indoors and want to capture a whole group, or a whole person head to toe? Need sharpness even in low light performance? Landscapes? Get this 16mm Viltrox!!! I'm even questioning my more expensive 17-24mm 2.8 zoom as this prime is more feature packed, sharper, wider and less expensive. So I'm heading out West again to canyons, grand and small, and wide vistas. Last year I was using the zoom mostly, but this year using this 16mm viltrox prime mostly on my Sony A7.4 --- Still getting used to the clickable aperture ring but I love it. Video! Fast focusing on people, distance changes, as good as any lens in my kit. ONLY thing I can think of that I wish this lens had would be a minimum focus distance close to 7 inches rather than the 10.6 inches, a whopping 3.5 inch difference, but I'm being nitpicky here, as it's almost as close as a zoom I have. But it focuses batter, faster, sharper and amazes in low light. Anyway, if you want one WIDE for either photo or video, go here and buy this lens first.
