Aperture not working, lens quit working out of the blue

I have the same issue, worked fine at first then just quit out of the blue, shoes --F and continues to make clicking sound, no help from viltrox, waste of money

Aperture and autofocus suddenly stopped working. Camera shows --F

On the field, about to use this lens and it gives up on me. It doesn't communicate to camera body at all, tried connecting in different configuration but doesn't work.

I bought this lens and it was perfect for 24hours. I used it one day and the next day it shows --F . I've contacted Viltrox many times and the worst customer service.
I am now stuck with a $400 paperweight and you will be soon too and will erase this rating.
