I love this lens and how it naturally works with the camera body. I did have to upgrade the firmware when I received it (it’s a little tricky - make sure you have a mini USB cable that is designed for data, not just charging, and the latest update that had something to do with Adobe caused camera issues but the second latest one worked great).

Having such a huge aperture makes for great low light photos. The manual aperture adjustment is smooth. The build quality is great and it looks gorgeous on my white body Canon M50 Mark II.

Great prime lens. Works exactly as it should and I really love the aperture ring. There was a problem with video recording but it was quickly fixed by installing the newest firmware. This was also very easy since the camera has a standard micro usb port for this purpose. Easily good enough quality, feels great. Strongly recommend this, really fun and usable lens overall.
