Calidad a un excelente precio

Un lente muy nítido de una excelente calidad de imagen y construcción. Me siento súper contento con mi compra y lo recomiendo. Las únicas dos cosas que pudieran mejoras son el peso del lente y la distancia mínima de enfoque.

Excellent Hybrid for my use case.

Stunning lens with features you usually only find on lenses twice this price. I also love that someone is making pro level lenses specifically for S35 sensors like my FX30. For my use case this has served very well as a portrait photography lens, but also as a sort of specialty lens for video work allowing me to get great bokeh, a super shallow depth of field, and a very interesting look you just can’t get from f2.8+ zoom lenses.

Of course it lacks the stabilization and it’s not suited for handheld video work, but that’s the fault of the focal length, not the lens. If it has one drawback it’s the lens hood. Why doesn’t it snap into place? It’s very flimsy and doesn’t stay connected well at all. For that I will have to deduct one point. Besides that, it’s a solid 9/10 lens that punches WAY above its weight class. I love it.

First higher end lens

This is the first lens I have bought that was in the prosumer category. I am very pleased with the lens performance in low light. The background blur is delightful, especially with holiday lighting.

This is one monster lens

Let me elaborate.
The positives:
- monster sharpness
- monster bokeh
- monster light gathering (you would not imagine to be at ISO 100 at dusk)
- very good af speed
- reasonable price (especially with the discount)
- built in USBC port for upgrades (no need to buy a separate accessory)
The not-so-positives:
- monster size and weight (for an APS-C prime)
- flimsy hood and front cover
I am really happy and fully recommend it.
